Need rod leashes?

Here is the method I use, Not my video but the exact same method. I used old fiberglass tent poles to wrap the weed whacker line around.

no problem, I used 4 or 5 pieces of fiberglass tent pole cut to fit in my canning pot that way I can make a few at a time. I tried two different sizes of trimmer line from our local dollar store. I cant remember the dimensions but the orange ones worked great, the green ones didnt hold shape at all.

I'm not a fan of leashes personally, but that is a very neat way to make them.
